CrosslineYouth is the youth ministry of Crossline Community Church.
We serve students of grade 6-12 directly, as well as their families.
Using weekly programs as a platform for teaching God’s Word and building discipleship-focused relationships, our desire is to live life alongside students, helping shepherd them towards Christ. We also host many unique events, outings, and meetings as contact points for more of God’s Word, discipleship, and Gospel centered community.
What is “Crux33″ and what does it mean?
It’s the maxim of CrosslineYouth derived from two words:
crux (krks) n. pl. crux·es or cru·ces (krsz)
1. The basic, central, or critical point or feature “the crux of the matter”
33 (from Colossians 3:3 in the NLT)
“For you died to this life, & your real life is hidden with Christ in God.”
The meaning of Crux33 is found as both of these are united. We want each student to know that there is no actual life outside of one hidden in Christ. The crux of living this life is actually making Jesus the reason for it all…that is when real life actually begins! We have a saying around here, “Live.Real.Life.”
We have a vision to see a group of students, leaders and families, focused on being like Jesus personally, sharing His good news globally and living out real life totally.
Our mission is to team up with parents, living life alongside students, leading them to discover and step into, the life they were designed to live, all to the glory of God.
