Here it is CrosslineYouth…a brand new devotional plan for 2011! What follows is designed to help you stay growing and learning in your devotion to God.
We’re challenging all our students (parents too!) to join the ranks of “The Mighty” and commit to a new course of discipleship called the “Crux100″ (download at bottom).This devotional plan will take you through the 100 most critical passages of the Bible in the course of a year…that’s simply 2 passages from Scripture AND one memory verse per week.
This plan plan is like an “appetizer” at a nice meal. Everyone at the table enjoys the bite-sized appetizer, then they order a meal of their choosing.
The Crux100 plan is a commitment to:
1) Examine & respond to 2 passages of scripture each week.
2) Commit 1 Bible passage to memory, called a “Fighter Verse” .
In addition to the Crux100, we encourage the Mighty to choose an additional reading plan to supplement the 2 passages a week covered in the basic “appetizer” plan, this will be the “main course” to the Crux100. This is entirely optional but encouraged as we pray that appetites are swelled (use these plans as you wish, in part or in whole):
Option “Grant”: New Testament + 11 Crucial O.T. Books in a Year
(2 ch. a day, 5 days per week, 8 blank days per month)
Option “Power Meal”: Bible in a Year
(4 ch a day, every day, 5 days blank per month)
Which meal will you order?
We are so excited to see how God will change us and use us for the kingdom as we are devoted to His word in study and memory. We are also excited to see how God will unite us together as a family of God in His Word.
