In CrosslineYouth, we like to change pace in summer & slow things down a bit.
Every Wednesday from 5-7 this summer, we will do just that!
Swim, chill, talk, eat, laugh…and talk about & worship Jesus.
Bring $1 and we’ll feed you, hang out & hopefully grow together in Him.
We meet at the Marshall’s house in Nellie Gail.

For 4 Wednesday nights this coming
January we will be having a series![]()
called Stolen Identity, 7-8:30pm
in the Fellowship Center.
Each Wednesday we will be digging deep into who God has made men & women to be AND take a look at how the Enemy and our culture both strive to steal away from us the identity that Jesus Christ has purchased for those who follow Him.
For the last of the 4 nights, guys & girls will meet separately to go deeper into issues & areas unique to men &women.
GUYS → Guys will examine the pervasive problem of lust, mainly in the area of pornography. The average guy today is first exposed to pornography when he’s 9 years old. We want to help train, equip & encourage our young men to face this battle and to grow up to be men of God who say NO to this ever growing part of our culture. (for junior high & high school guys)
GIRLS → Girls will examine bluntly the difference between what it means to be truly beautiful vs. being sensual. We’ll examine
what a woman of character is. Our culture constantly sends our girls destructive messages on what beauty, love & what their self-image should be. We want to train, equip & encourage our young ladies to not live like this world says to. (for junior high & high school girls)
Corporately, our emphasis will be on championing our identity as sons & daughters of King Jesus. As His kids, we’ll break down how we should be carrying ourselves in the area of sexuality, dating, (even texting!), & friendship.
PARENTS: If you have questions, comments regarding our subject matter or delivery, please email me here. Note: If you are concerned that you’re 6th or 7th grader is too young to participate, please contact me!
See you in January!

Guest-post from senior, Rachael:
I remember when my parents told me that our family was moving – again. I thought of all my friends, those I had had for years and those who were new.
I thought of having to start at a new school in the middle of High School, and adjusting to a slightly different culture here in Southern California.
But mostly, I was grieved over the fact that I would have to leave my church.
I belonged to a church that I had attended since 3rd grade, and my heart was deeply rooted there.
I was comfortable, but wasn’t actively participating in the body.
So, we moved.
It was important to both of my parents for me to be in a church, so once we arrived the search began. I was in and out of multiple churches, settled on one, and then decided it wasn’t for me.
For a few months, I rarely attended church. On a short visit back to my home state, my old pastor urged me to find a church. I came home and began the search again. I tried too many to even remember, but one day we drove past Crossline Community Church.
Desperate to try anything, I showed up the next Sunday. And I haven’t left since.
I’m usually a pretty reserved person, scared to jump in too quickly. So it surprised some when I signed up to be in a small group. The group has been an immense blessing to me. God gave me a group of wonderful girls, all of them running after Jesus, and three leaders who push us to chase God more and more.
Because of God’s great grace, and with the help of my group, I finally saw Jesus for who He truly is, and not what I had created Him in my mind to be. Through our small group, I have built (more…)
